Classes
Our Preschool provides a very intimate and nurturing environment. We have 3 classes, each with twenty children and a staff ratio of 1:10 children. In addition to this we have a staff member who rotates between the classes daily and a support teacher who focuses on promoting school readiness skills.
The classes are divided age-appropriately, (Cubs Cottage, Pups and Joeys), with a curriculum designed individually for each class. Our emphasis for the younger children (Cubs) is on social and emotional development while fostering their independence. In the Pups and Joeys we continue to further extend their skills in all the areas of development including preparing the children for school.
We also provide the opportunity for the children to come together during outside playtimes, communal celebrations, shows and when outside entertainers visit.
